What We Collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, and profile image when you sign in with Google.
- Content you add or upload, such as resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, interview prep, and application-tracking data.
- Job-related details such as job links, company names, role titles, locations, and files or screenshots you upload for analysis.
- Billing records from Stripe such as your customer ID, plan, and subscription or purchase status. We do not store your full card number.
- Technical and usage data such as sign-in state, page views, feature usage, browser details, logs, and preference data stored in your browser.
How We Use It
- To create your account, sign you in, and keep your session working.
- To save and sync your documents, applications, preferences, and billing status.
- To run the AI features you ask for, such as resume tailoring, cover letter writing, interview prep, and document extraction.
- To process purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and billing support requests.
- To monitor usage, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- To comply with law and enforce our agreements.
AI and Service Providers
HireMe uses third-party providers to run the product, including Google for sign-in, OpenAI for AI features, Stripe for billing, Convex for data storage, Vercel for hosting, and Google Analytics for analytics.
When you use AI features, we may send the relevant inputs, such as resume content, job descriptions, files, screenshots, prompts, and editing instructions, to our AI providers.
Your Choices and Retention
- You can update most of your profile, resume, cover letter, and application content inside the product.
- You can manage billing through the Stripe portal linked from the app.
- You can delete your account inside the app settings. If you have an active paid plan, you should also cancel billing separately.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational limits.
- We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security, Children, and Updates
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, but no online service can promise absolute security.
HireMe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
